The Origin of Reiki Healings

A few years ago I was ministering healing at a meeting. A woman approached me and told me that she had heard about my healing ministry, and had been wanting to meet me. She told me that she was a “healer” as well. As it turns out, she was a Reiki master.

My heart sank when I heard this. One of the hardest things to do is to tell someone that they are operating in demonic power. Most are completely unaware of this. The person doing the Reiki has no idea of the source of their power and personal bondage, nor are they aware of the bondage they put those in, whom they work on. My conscience will not let me not say anything.

How we present this information to them is the deciding factor in whether or not a person will hear what we have to say or not, and could possibly hinder their freedom.

I looked her in the eyes and told her “ you’re a really good person, with a beautiful heart for people. I know that you got into Reiki out of a desire to help hurting people”. She agreed. I told her, “I don’t want to offend you or hurt your feelings, but I have to tell you the truth. The power that heals through you, and the power that heals through me is not the same power. In fact the two powers oppose each other.”

Again I reiterated that I didn’t want to offend her but I had to tell her the truth. I really wanted her to see God’s heart in what I was saying. I told her “the power that you are operating in is actually demonic power.”

She was shocked. She said that it was God that was working through her. I asked the question “what if I’m right and if it were a demon working through you, would you still want it in you?” “Well no” she replied. I told her that I would lead her in a prayer to renounce it. If it is really of God then nothing will happen, but if not she’d know it pretty quick.

I lead her in renouncing the spirit of new age, and the healing force she received, as well as Reiki spirits. She found out pretty quick that it was a demon. As soon as the words came out of her mouth, she began to shake. She collapsed on the floor. When I commanded them to come out, she began to shake violently. They began to come out through coughs. When she was free, I shared the gospel with her and she made Jesus her savior.

If you are involved in Reiki, stop now! It is demonic and will put you into bondage! I don’t care if they talk about angels or “god”, or reference “the light”, If a person is not praying strictly in the name of Jesus, you do not want them praying for you!

I’ve seen many times how a person has Reiki done on them to alleviate pain or sickness. The pain or sickness disappears, but then you develop other symptoms. You go again for more Reiki. Next thing you know you are dealing with heaviness, depression, nightmares, suicidal thoughts etc.

You never stop to think that the new symptoms you’re feeling, or the oppression you’re dealing with is from the Reiki you’ve been involved in. People who submit to Reiki are ignorant to the fact that through the laying on of hands, a demonic spirit was imparted to them that is bent on killing stealing and destroying them.

You are lead further down the new age rabbit hole in search of healing or comfort, but finding more bondage.

If you have had Reiki done on you pray this prayer.

**Lord, in ignorance I participated in Reiki. Lord I repent of participating in this occultic practice. In Jesus name, I now turn from this.

In the name of Jesus, I renounce the spirit of new age, Reiki, depression, heaviness, suicide, affliction, infirmity, pain and any other demonic spirit that was imparted to me through the laying on of hands.

In Jesus name, I now break your hold and cancel your assignment against me. In the mighty name of Jesus I now command the spirit of new age, Reiki, depression, heaviness, suicide, affliction, infirmity, pain and any other demonic spirit that was imparted to me through the laying on of hands to come out of me now! In Jesus name, you must go!

You may start coughing, breathing heavy, burping, yawning. I believe that God will set you free!
