“Fascination” With Paranormal Exploration Gives Demons Legal Rights

Today we see an extreme interest in the paranormal. There are hundreds of shows dedicated to ghost hunting, big foot sightings, alien abductions, psychics and mediums, etc.

It was once said that “if you want to know the heart of society, look at its entertainment”. It’s no coincidence that as there is such an increase in interest in the paranormal and occult practices, that we see such a rapid increase in family disfunction, marital problems, violence, abuse, murder, suicide, serious illnesses, drug addictions, sexual addictions, etc. When people become obsessed with darkness, demonic spirits gain a foothold in their lives. Demons are here to steal, kill, and destroy. As hard as it is to believe, some don’t even believe that demons exist! This just allows demons to operate undercover in our lives, without being noticed.

Demonic spirits masquerade as ghosts, aliens, bigfoot, and even Holy Angels.

(I Just mentioned these for purposes of this article, but they masquerade as many other entities also.)

Demons do this in an attempt to deceive us. They look for an open door, to gain entrance into our lives. Open doors give them legal rights to enter our lives. Their main objective is to steal, kill, and destroy.

1 Peter 5:8 KJV
[8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

There are many ways to open a spiritual door to the demonic. Although there are many ways, in this article, I want to focus on one in particular.

Fascination with Paranormal Exploration

“Fascination” with getting evidence of demonic entities, by taking photos and videos, and soliciting audio recordings is one of the biggest ways to open a door to the demonic. Seeking “evidence” of the paranormal is a clear invitation for these demonic entities. People go out and “hunt” for these entities to get evidence of their existence. Essentially this “welcomes” the spirit our lives.

How is seeking/collecting evidence of the paranormal an invitation for the demonic?

Paranormal exploration is the result of fascination and attraction to darkness. Paranormal/supernatural only comes from the spiritual realm. Either it is Godly, or it is from the demonic. Scripture shows us that if it is from a godly source, it could be a Holy Angel, or hearing God’s audible voice, or it could be a supernatural visit from Jesus Himself. Either of these 3 will come with CLEAR instructions, mainly to warn us of something that could happen if we do not repent and turn to Jesus, followed with a promise in the event that we do. God’s only message to humanity is to repent, and accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior, and to believe in Him.

If it is from the demonic, it will not be in line with scripture, and it will usually only leave “hints or clues” of their existence. Hearing faint voices, footsteps when you know everyone is sleeping, lights turning on and off and doors opening and closing at random. This is clearly not something that God would do. He doesn’t play parlor tricks. With this type of activity, you won’t get a “clear” (godly) message. For example, these entities will come and make appearances, such as mysterious dark shadow figures, or like an alien, or big foot, or the “earthbound” spirit of someone that is deceased. But again, there really aren’t “clear” messages from these entities, but instead, leaving only a single word or two, the faint sound of a woman singing, or a name on recording device, while soliciting for EVPs (electronic voice phenomenon).

Oftentimes, they will come and do things such as knock on walls or perhaps even trees, but only to make their presence “known”, but again, with no clear message. They give you only enough “evidence” to keep you lured in, wanting more. It slowly becomes an obsession.

Taking photos or videos of them, or attempting to record them on audio devices (soliciting evps) is a clear invitation for them to have access to you. Essentially you are “welcoming” that spirit. They will do more than stand there and smile for the photo, or knock on a tree. 😳📸🎥

Once a demonic spirit gains access to a person, they cause things to happen, such as paranormal activity in the home, (which will only increase with time, in which can even take years) As the severity of the hauntings develop, they will become more extreme, in which the person will ultimately become terrorized. It is usually during this stage when people will come to realize that the “spirit” is not actually who, or what they claim to be. People begin to become aware that it is demonic in nature. The entity will aim to drive the person to the point of desperation, and severe hopelessness, as it aims to drive the person to suicide, or to the point where they will harm someone else. This is called demonic oppression.

Signs of demonic oppression are anger problems, depression, hopelessness, jealousy, abusive behavior, suicidal thoughts, hearing voices, paranoia, excessive fear, marital problems, financial ruin, ungodly sexual desires, such as incest, bestiality, homosexual sex, addiction to pornography, isolation from friends and family, and also unexplained sicknesses and illnesses.

In extreme cases where possession takes place, there will be things such as levitation, unknown knowledge of things not known before, speaking in foreign languages that the person had no prior knowledge of, super human strength, a deep hatred of God and Christians, or of religious objects. (Such as bibles, crosses, holy water, etc.)

What does God think about taking photos and videos of these spirits?

2 Kings 23:23-25 KJV
[23] But in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, wherein this passover was holden to the Lord in Jerusalem. [24] Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the Lord. [25] And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the Lord with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.

In the scripture above, it talks about how Josiah was ”like no other king before him”, because he destroyed all the idols and images, because he loved the Lord with all his soul and with all his might. The images and idols are abominations to the Lord.

The “images” back then may not have been actual photographs like we have today, but they were made by man to replicate false gods/demons. (Graven images) God hates them. This is all the more reason that we should hate them. We certainly should not be “fascinated” by them!

As a matter of fact, we should not only avoid taking photos/videos of them, but a born again Christian should rebuke these demonic spirits and cast them out, in Jesus name!

We don’t see anywhere in scripture, where Jesus or the disciples went “looking for demons”. They didn’t sit in dark houses, or in the woods, waiting and looking for them. These entities’ true appearance is much more hideous than any photo will ever show them to be! As a matter of fact, if anyone seen how they look in their truest appearance, they would run as fast as they could and as far away from them as possible!! We certainly would not sit at a table summoning one using a voice recorder, to have a conversation with it!
